Description
Low House Farm, Claughton, Lancashire is a working mixed dairy farm of 150 acres in the picturesque Lune Valley. Well located for the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, the North West Coastal Resorts as well as the M6 motorway.
We enjoy welcoming guests to our large comfortable farm house where we can offer a choice of a family room with en suite shower room, a double room with adjoining private bathroom and a single room with shared facilites.
I serve a full farmhouse breakfast, using locally sourced ingredients, in a room which has stunning views along the valley to the Yorkshire Dales. There is also a country pub within walking distance and many other varied hotels and restaurants along the valley.
Guests are encouraged to take advantage of footpaths and way marked walks along the riverside and around the farm, enjoying our beautiful countryside. Come during spring and help feed the lambs!
Day tickets for River Lune fishing are available locally. Golf and pony trekking are also within a short distance and Leighton Moss Bird Sanctuary is only a 30 minute drive away.

Road Directions
Leave the M6 motorway at jct 34. Take the A683 Lancaster to Kirkby Lonsdale road. At Claughton turn left adjacent to Fenwick Arms Hotel. The farm is approximately 200yds on the right.
Public Transport Directions
From Lancaster Bus station take the bus for Kirkby Lonsdale, Hornby or Ingleton, all of which go through the village of Claughton.
