Description
Countdown begins to the Lancaster Firework Festival 2012...
The skies above Lancaster will be ablaze with colour once again when Lancaster City Council launches its 2012 Firework Spectacular.
This year’s pyrotechnic spectacular takes place on Saturday, November 3 – and is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before. This year will have a Lancashire Witches theme, to mark the culmination of the commemorative events surrounding the 400th anniversary of the Lancashire Witch Trials.
To warm you up for the evening’s event, there will be themed activities to enjoy during the day including guided walks, storytelling, arts and crafts and lantern making workshops.
More details of the daytime events and the official viewing areas will be available from the Visitor Information Centres in Lancaster and Morecambe and online at www.lancaster.gov.uk/fireworks nearer the date.
