Lancaster, Morecambe and the Lune Valley can be enjoyed by all! Whether you're on foot or on wheels, there are plenty of accessible places that can be visited.
"One Voice" in Lancaster have produced a guide for the use of anyone who requires good access to services, whether it be because of low mobility, a disability or a parent with a pushchair. It includes access information including Getting Around, Parking, Toilets, Where to Stay and Where to Visit.

The Disability Access Guide is for the use of anyone in Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth areas who requires disabled access to services, whether it be because of low mobility or a disability.
We hope that the guide will be of use to both visitors and residents alike who require good information and access for the services they want to use.

Lancaster City Council's Community Engagement Service only actively promotes accommodation which has been accredited by Quality in Tourism or the AA. Please note that accommodation listed in the One Voice guide may not necessarily carry a quality accredited rating.
Access to Theatre performances:
The Dukes Theatre in Lancaster regularly offers Audio Described and British Sign Language interpreted performances of its own productions. For more information, dates and prices, please contact the Dukes on 01524 598500 or tickets@dukes-lancaster.org .
Accessible Toilets and RADAR Keys:
Both Visitor Information Centres (Lancaster VIC, The Storey, Meeting House Lane, LA1 1TH / Morecambe VIC, Old Station Buildings, Morecambe, LA4 4DB) sell RADAR keys which allow access to a number of accessible toilets throughout the district. Morecambe Visitor Information Centre also carries a key which can be borrowed - this allows access to a specially adpated room at the Festival Market which offers changing and washing facilities, plus hoist equipment, for those with mobility requirements.
