Christmas and New Year Opening Times:
- Both centres open as normal until 23rd December
- 24th December, Christmas Eve - closed from 3pm onwards
- 25th December, Christmas Day - Closed all day
- 26th December, Boxing Day - Closed all day
- Sat 27th Dec, Mon 29th, Tue 30th December - Open as normal
- 31st December, New Year’s Eve - closed from 3pm onwards
- 1st January, New Year’s Day - Closed all day
- 2nd Jan - Open as normal
Morecambe Visitor Information Centre is situated on Morecambe's Central Promenade, in the Old Station Buildings which also house the entertainment venue, The Platform. Morecambe VIC carries a range of printed information about the town and its surroundings, and our helpful and knowledgeable staff can assist you with travel and transport information, Platform ticket bookings, accommodation bookings and much more. Morecambe VIC sells a range of books and giftware including the popular Walls retro range and a range of Art Deco gifts.
Lancaster Visitor Information Centre is located in the Storey Building on Lancaster’s Meeting House Lane, just 2 minutes’ walk from the railway station. As well as brochures, guides and leaflets, LVIC has for sale books on local history and heritage, plus the Best of British range of souvenirs and a number of Lancashire-themed gifts. Staff can advise you on where to stay, what to see and do, and what’s on in Lancaster and the surrounding area.

Normal Opening Hours are Monday - Saturday, 9.30am - 5pm, Closed for lunch 1pm - 1.45pm. Also open Sundays 10am - 4pm throughout the summer, plus Bank Holidays.
