The VISIT card

Visit CardLancaster & Morecambe Visitor Information Centres have launched a new Visit card, for both local residents and visitors to use when visiting our local attractions.

  • What is the Visit Card?

The VISIT card is a pass card that is free of charge, available from our Visitor Information Centres which will offer discounts and offers at local attractions. The card will be actively promoted through our centres, and the current Special Offers will be viewable online, on our Special Offers page.

Alternatively you can download a printable pdf by clicking here, with all the offers listed.

  • What does the Visit card offer visitors and local residents?

The VISIT card encourages visitors and local residents to make the most of their visit to the District and a chance to to re-visit our local attractions.

  • What does the Visit card offer to Attractions?

No advertising costs

Promotion of your attraction on a dedicated section on the Tourism web-site (www.citycoastcountryside.co.uk)

Flexible – you set the discount and the timescale

To work in conjunction with Lancaster & Morecambe Visitor Information Centres

  • I run an attraction, what sort of offers should I think about?

A discount on the entrance price?  Eg: 2 for 1 entry, child goes free
A free drink in the café?
Money off merchandise, souvenirs or guide books?

  • …and how long should the offer be valid for?

Throughout the spring/summer season (March – August 2012)?
Only in term time or in the school holidays?
Specific dates?

We are flexible and will work with you to run the offer you would like to promote!

  • Yes our attraction wants to be involved – what do I do next?

Just complete the form by clicking HERE and emailing it back to athomas@lancaster.gov.uk

…or if you would like to discuss the Visit Card scheme, or your potential offer further please contact Allison Thomas by phone 01524 582397 or email: athomas@lancaster.gov.uk
