You can book Saturday to Saturdat through the online booking system, but bookings starting any other day and short breaks are possible by phoning 01524 735788.

Culdene is a spacious ground floor self contained apartment for two which has recently been refurbished. The bright lounge with dining alcove has ample seating and a varied selection of books and games for your enjoyment.

There is a television, DVD, video and radio (with instructions!). The kitchen if fully fitted with all the usual appliances and the fitted bedroom can have either a 6ft wide double bed or two 3ft singles. There are many delightful walks from the door.

You could also drive along quiet lanes; south through the moorlands and pretty villages of the Forest of Bowland; east to the rolling Yorkshire Dales; north east through the awe-inspiring Hwgills or west to the quiet picturesque coast of Morecambe Bay.

You can be in the magnificent Lake District in less than an hour and historic Kendal and Lancaster are close to hand with the seaside town on Morecambe just 20 minutes away.

Road Directions

Approximately 2 miles from the motorway.
Leave M6 at junction 35 take slip road towards Milnthorpe but at roundabout turn left to Carnforth.
Go straight on at roundabout to traffic lights in Carnforth where you turn right passing Carnforth station on the left. Drive through Mill Head.
After the turning for Silverdale, which you do not take, the road narrows and there is a small green on the right (known locally as The Lower Weir) and a few yards passed this on the left opposite a small farm gate is the sign for Culdene. Go up the STRAIGHT drive to the car park at the top and adjacent to the property.
