The week of Wray Scarecrow Festival starts on Saturday, 26th April 2008 with the 10k road race, and continues until Monday 5th May when the annual fair is held on the school field as usual.
Thanks to the various volunteers who work so hard all week during the festival and help us make the fair such a success. Attractions for the 2008 festival include Schools Mini Football Competition,
Childrens Scarecrow Puppet Show, 2 Funfairs, Pipe Bands, Dog Agility, Duck Herding, Blacksmith, Rare Breeds, Pottery, Craft Tent, Spinning, Felt making, Hedge Laying demonstration (Monday), Chainsaw sculpture, Karate Demonstration, Locoblog and digital photograph display by Lancaster University
Car parking for Wray Scarecrow Festival will be available in designated areas and it is essential all visitors use these car parks. To accommdate the large number of visitors we charge a nominal fee of £1.00 for parking. Please follow sign posts to designated car parks, this will avoid congestion and allow Emergency Vehicles access to the Village at all times.

The Scarecrow Festival is on the main road between Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale.
