The Edge Gallery

Established in 2003, the Edge Gallery is modest in size, but massive on cutting-edge contemporary art. We have an ever-changing and exciting programme of exhibitions by selected artists from across the UK.

Our wide selection of art and design led work includes jewellery, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, paintings, prints, accessories and greetings cards.

The Edge Gallery is located in Lancaster's historic city centre, with easy access by rail and road. Situated at the very heart of the North West arts scene, the gallery is designed to inspire you with a fine selection of new, fresh and exciting art from all over the country.

If you're ever looking for that particular piece of work, please inform us, and we'll do our very best to find it for you. Moreover, if you have any suggestions for improvement to the gallery or the exhibitions, we are always happy to hear from you.

Road Directions

Exit the M6 Motorway at Junction 34 and follow signs for Lancaster. Join the one way system (Caton Road) and pass small retail park on left on approach to traffic lights. Turn left following signs for Lancaster City Centre.

The nearest train station is Lancaster which is only a 5 minute walk from Lancaster Visitor Information Centre, just outside the city centre. The station is on the West Coast Mainline with regular mainline Virgin services to London & South and Glasgow & North. Local services include a regular service to Morecambe.
