Originally created in the 1920s the park, in Morecambe, has been revived and has activities for all ages including play areas, swingboats, miniature railway, bowling green, miniature golf, putting green, crazy golf, paddling pool, trampolines, roundabout, multi-purpose sports surface, Japanese garden, cafe, ice cream kiosk and picnic area. Leave M6 jct 34 or 35 and follow signs for Morecambe and then signs for the park.
Bare Lane train station is a 15 minute walk away and the buses 3 and 4 stop near Happy Mount Park. As the bus turns onto the promenade, from driving through Bare, this is the bus stop that is needed to get off at. Taxes are available.
