Much more than just a pub, The Borough at Dalton Square is also establishing a reputation as a leading city restaurant. Expect a strong choice of food - including locally sourced produce - in stylish surrounding with a relaxing ambience and very comfortable seating.

Whether it's an evening dining out or a quick drink you're after, The Borough will cater for your needs.

3 Dalton Square was built in 1824 on the original site of the Dominican friarage coffee house, where the merchants of Lancaster conducted their business around Lancaster's thriving port. A grand building with listed oak and exterior with beautiful stained glass panelling, The Borough has been returned to its once former glory.

The Borough serves Real Ale and has afternoon Cream Teas, Pre-Theatre Specials and a fantastic Steak Night on Wednesdays!
