A walk along St George's Quay will blow away the cobwebs - stop in at the Maritime Museum to explore Lancaster's maritime history - there are plenty of hands-on exhibits for the kids!

Up the hill lies Williamson Park with its Butterfly House and Ashton Memorial - the green-domed folly visible from many points in and around Lancaster.
