Relax comfortably in one of our four cottages based in Carnforth. Walk our nature trail or through nearby nature reserves in AONB. Children can play on the adventure playground and feed the animals. Keeper's Cottage has all rooms on a single level; the Old Stables have beams and exposed limestone. Laundry room available. Short Breaks Nov-Easter. Open all year.

Brackenthwaite Farm covers an area of approximately 27 hectares. The farm is a working farm and participation is not possible. We farm: sheep, horse, poultry, beef. Other features: woodland and land let for belted Galloways and sheep. Please note that on the farm: dogs are allowed, children are welcome, smoking is permitted, dogs and children under supervision.
N.B. No1 the Old Stables, No2 the Old Stables and Keepers Cottages has been awarded three stars by Quality in Tourism. Brackenthwaite Cottage has been awarded four stars by Quality in Tourism.

From the North - Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 36, travel south along the A6070 to Burton-in-Kendal. After passing through the village, turn right along Tarn Lane. On reaching the A6,cross to Nineteen Acre Lane and proceed as directed from the South.
Nearest train station is Carnforth with regular links from Lancaster
