Taste Lancashire Evening & Visit 'Bittern' Talk
'Taste Lancashire' evening and 'VisitBittern' talk at RSPS Leighton Moss nature reserve, Silverdale, near Carnforth.
We will be taken on a virtual tour of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty by their countryside officer, Tony Riden. Beforehand, join us for a three course home-cooked meal all made from local produce followed by tea or coffee and local cheeses (bring your own wine).

Fish, Chips & Quiz Cruises
This popular cruises will run on certain Wednesday evenings during 2008.
This cruise offers fun and frolics as we cast off from the Carnforth Canal Turn at 19.00.
The delicious fish, chips & optional mushy peas) arrive at Bolton-le-Sands, fresh from the award winning Packet Bridge Chippy.
The boat then meanders towards Hest Bank, offering stunning views over Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Hills, before it heads back to Carnforth. A quiz is hosted during the return journey, with the boat returning to Carnforth for 22.00.
