Our district has a long tradition of producing fine foods from the land, rivers and the sea. This is reflected in the great local produce available and used within the menus of many of our eating establishments.

Farmers Markets

A great way to sample and buy local foods is to visit the excellent Farmers' Markets held monthly in Lancaster. Contact our Information Centres for more information.

The current establishments involved in Taste Lancashire 08 in the district are Crofters (near Garstang), The Priory, The Bay Horse Inn, New Holly, Coulsons Restaurant, The Waterwitch, RSPB Leighton Moss Tea Rooms, The Mill Inn and Longlands Hotel.
